Connected by nature
Microsoft’s renovation and expansion of its Silicon Valley campus is a reimagining of what a corporate campus can be. The project is a symbiosis of people and place. The expansion connects 3 existing structures with a new building, complete with green courtyards, a comprehensive green roof park, and plenty of additional spaces connecting indoors and outdoors. With these elements the project prioritizes connectivity, amenities and views. The new campus also is ultra-customizable from a users perspective; operable windows, operable ceiling fans, movable walls and furniture, and so on. The project uses mass timber extensively on the interior as well.
